Mac, I see you are always exploring for good websites about the Christian faith, and I know you had a few articles before on the timing of the rapture. I recently looked at a place called The Rapture Solution Putting the Puzzle Together. I didn't read much on it yet, since I should get to bed so I can get up for work :( but I have a toothache so am not yet attempting to sleep. Anyway, maybe you'll find the place interesting.
Thanks for your comment. I believe this is the website you’re referring to. It’s a great site and the author really thinks about the issues. I recommend everyone with an open mind to consider reading Allen Beechick’s material and compare it to scripture.
The Rapture Solution
I was fairly rapture neutral (leaning towards posttrib) in the past, but a couple of years ago I began studying the different schools of thought. The whole rapture question and the timing is a complex subject – regardless of what some might say. The easiest view to study and critique, in my opinion, is the prewrath system because it is so new and has few variants. The posttrib can be difficult because there are variants of it, and the midtrib view has so little information and few adherents. The pretrib view has the largest following among premillennialists but it also has different schools of thought re some issues within it. While I don’t want to sound dogmatic, I think pretrib is the view that best fits scripture.
